NYCSD has scheduled 3 Big Boat Raft-ups for this summer. The first is June 21-23 in Glorietta Bay, the second is July 12-14 in La Playa Cove, and the third is August 16-18 in the Coronado Cays basin.

What is a Big Boat Raft-up you might ask? It is a quazi-organized event to get boaters together to enjoy their boat, their company, and the water. Boatts big and small (not dinghies) will tie off to each other and ride on a few anchors. Each boat should bring their own food and beverage, but some also bring snacks to share.

Our raft-ups start about noon on Friday and break up around noon on Sunday. You can come and join for any or all of that time. If you plan to stay overnight you must get a reservation through the Port of San Diego website https://www.portofsandiego.org/. It is very easy and no charge. Reservations are required for Glorietta Bay and La Playa, but not for Coronado Cays.

Let's get some boats out, fly our burgees, and show the bay that we are more than just a racing club!
